Muthoni Kuruga follows a series of consultative meetings with officers from the Department of Finance and Economic Planning, as well as a thorough scrutiny of management responses to issues raised in the Auditor-General’s reports.To address the queries highlighted, the Committee recommends that management considers issuing electronic invoices to clients to facilitate direct bank payments, thereby reducing bureaucratic procedures and enhance efficiency.Further, the Committee recommends upgrading the revenue management system to enable integration with bank deposits and cheque payments. The Management is also required to submit a comprehensive report to the County Assembly detailing the status of the Revenue Management Systems all aimed at improving revenue collection and ensuring the prudent use of public resources for the development of Nyeri County. ...
